Great site! You have done a great job getting all of this information together!! I am trying to find out as much info as I can right now on my Wife's 1992 Ford Mustang LX. She bought this car back in 1999, and has 213,000 miles on it and still running. I have a LOT OF WORK to do on this car to get it back to it's original conditon. It has the 2.3 Liter 4 cylinder engine in it along with the A4LD Transmission. We have had some issues with the Transmission. I had to have it rebuilt 2 times now. It is not one of Ford's better Transmission from what I am told. The main issue that I have with the car right now is that it is idling mighty bad. I have narrowed it down to a faulty emission component. I need to get a hold of a wiring and vacuum diagram to figure out which component is causing the problem. I did not see any information on your site covering this engine. To make things more complicated it is a California Emissions car also, and yes it has the DIS Ignition System EEC-IV System also. The car has 8 spark plugs in the engine head. From what I have been researching there were not too many of these cars produced during the 1992 year. The car is completely stock with no modifications at all. Please see if you can provide any information that you may have on this car. It is a diamond in the ruff, just gotta get it there.

Thanks,

Bob

Great yet anoughter "Mustang" site that doesn't think 1974-78 Mustangs are important. When are you people going to realize if it wasn't for these the foxbody would have never been built, not to mention any of the late model Mustangs.

We are MUSTANGS TOO!

True they are as much part of the Mustang history as any other Generation !!
And I will be happy to add as much Mustang II info links as possible, unfortunately there isn't as much info online at the web as there is for other generations. Trust me, I'm working on it. Feel free to sent me some links by using the email link on the home page, I'll look into it and will add it ASAP.

Thanks, Gearz (Site owner).
